As part of the universal Jubilee Year celebrations, three sites have been named pilgrimage churches for the Adelaide Archdiocese: Adelaide’s St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, Penola’s St Joseph’s Church and Clare Valley’s Sevenhill Winery and Ignatian Spirituality Centre.
The 2025 Jubilee Year will officially open on December 24 at 7pm with a Mass presided over by Pope Francis in St Peter’s Square, followed by the rite of the Opening of the Holy Door.
Glenelg parish priest Fr John Herd will give a talk about his recent experiences travelling the Camino de Santiago at the next Lefevre parish faith formation session.
