As families around the State honour mums this Mother’s Day, it will be an extra special celebration for one Magill great grandmother who is about to reach a major birthday milestone.

Not many Catholics receive two papal blessings in their lifetime but there is no doubt that Esther Jordan has been a blessing to the Australian Church since leaving her family behind in Ireland as a 16-year-old girl to join the Presentation Sisters in Geraldton, WA.
