Tenison Woods College in Mount Gambier will honour the significant achievements of four members of the school community this weekend.

Adelaide Mercy Sisters Mary Mutlow, Meredith Evans, Mary-Anne Duigan, Tess Flaherty, Pat Feehan and Nola Morrissy at West Terrace Cemetery.

Oceans apart but together in spirit

They may not have been able to gather in person but the Sisters of Mercy in Argentina and South Australia were joined in spirit as they paid homage to the pioneering women who established a presence in Adelaide, Mt Gambier and Coolgardie 140 years ago.

Giving thanks for a place in God’s church

Fr Anthony Kain celebrated his last Mass as parish priest of Glenelg at the Easter Vigil – to an empty church. Preaching to a camera wasn’t the way he anticipated ending his 12-year mission in the seaside parish but change has been a constant theme throughout his ministry.
