McAuley Community School students Livi Meehan and Angelina Schinella shook off the nerves and stood up for people experiencing homelessness at Sunday Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Brighton, last month.
There has been a flurry of building activity at nearly 30 Catholic schools around the State this year, as Catholic Education SA continues to provide state-of-the-art facilities to meet the requirements of today’s teaching and learning.
The newest Catholic primary school in the State, McAuley Community School, and the Alive Early Learning Centre Hove were officially opened and blessed on April 29, nearly a year and a half after commencing operation.
The Matthews family couldn’t be happier with the new McAuley Community School at Hove.
