Women in Catholic ministry

In December 2018, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart announced they would be withdrawing their administration of our parish after providing religious ministry for the previous 105 years. At the time I was chairperson of our PPC and in consultation with our community we formed a transition team to steer our community into uncharted waters.

Pray and care for each other in testing times

In the wake of churches closing due to the coronavirus pandemic, members of different Christian communities in Adelaide are being encouraged to pray together at the same time each Friday morning.

Parish to farewell MSCs

The Sacred Heart Hindmarsh-Findon parish will commemorate 105 years of Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) ministry in the area at a thanksgiving Mass on June 29.

Parish prepares for MSC departure
