Grandparents a treasure to cherish

The valuable role older members of the Church play in their families and forming the faith of the younger generation will be honoured in parishes around the Archdiocese later this month.

They have been described by Pope Francis as a ‘gift’ and a ‘treasure’ and there is no doubt that Catholic grandparents are playing a significant role when it comes to the faith formation of the young in the Church.
