A pastoral heart just the remedy

An enduring memory from Helena Sweeney’s time as a prison chaplain is watching a woman being escorted by officers on her way to freedom.

Long-serving volunteers at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Frank Hubbarts (Gawler parish) and Margaret Wooley (Salisbury parish), were farewelled recently. Frank and Margaret have been bringing comfort and reassurance to the sick and dying, as well as bringing the Eucharist to Catholic patients for 12 and 16 years respectively.
