Voitre’s artwork a gift to God

For Czech-born sculptor Voitre Marek, creating artworks and items that fill so many local Catholic churches and schools today was how he could best serve God. Now, 22 years after his death, the Art Gallery of South Australia is preparing to honour his talent with an exhibition.

Craft of compassion at Brighton

After an enforced break due to COVID-19, the Brighton Vinnies Knitting and Sewing Group are back in business crafting items for layettes for refugee families and scarves and rugs for the homeless.
