Under the guidance of Sue Rowland, a parent of a StPatsTech Old Scholar, and their teacher Annasofia Hamilton, the students are learning to quilt and also providing an item that will be valued by local women and children in crisis.

Ms Hamilton said it also helped students become more aware of the types of services in the community.
None of the students had sewn before but some said they were now keen to do more quilting.Jump to next article
