Catholic Education Week celebrations
Schools
Celebrating what it means to be a Catholic school will be one of the features of this year’s Catholic Education Week being held from May 25 to June 1.
In the lead up to the week, Catholic Education SA has updated its digital directory and is encouraging people to use the resource to find a school near them and potentially attend an open day, so they can see for themselves what Catholic schools have to offer.
There will be an advertising campaign in the wider community to promote the week with its theme of ‘Where Every Child Matters’. A highlight of this campaign will be a magazine published in The Advertiser on May 19.

Catholic schools throughout the State will be recognising the week in a variety of ways and are being encouraged to connect their activities and prayers with the Year of Youth celebrations.
It is hoped that during the week students will also participate in the contest being run by the Catholic Office for Youth and Young Adults to design a processional cross.
