ACRATH turns 20

Australian Catholic Religious against Trafficking of Humans (ACRATH) is marking 20 years of working towards eliminating human trafficking and modern slavery through raising awareness, advocacy and companionship.

Professor Marinella Marmo, a leading expert on human rights and gendered criminology, will speak at an anniversary celebration on February 12 from 6pm to 8pm in St Ignatius Church Hall, 134 William Street, Norwood.

Good Samaritan Sister Sarah Puls, national executive officer of ACRATH, and Catherine Edwards, founding member of Young Mercy Links and Talitha Kum Youth representative, will also speak.

The event is an opportunity to hear about the SA Committee’s campaigns and projects including slavery free chocolate, awareness raising in schools and an exciting collaboration with Flinders and Adelaide universities and Young Mercy Links.
