Anabelle Fusco was baptised by Deacon Olek Stirrat in St Patrick’s Church, City, on August 15, and is pictured with, from left, godparents Tomislav and Jessie Zilic and parents Andreas and Belinda Fusco.
Emma Rollo and Nicholas Radbone were married on February 13 at St Ignatius Church, Norwood by Fr Peter Hosking SJ. Their parents are Margaret and Kurt Rollo of Rosslyn Park, and John and Marie Radbone of Walkerville.
South African migrant Lyn Dickason was guest speaker at the CWL Upper South Eastern regional meeting in July. Lyn and her husband Peter followed their daughter and two sons to Australia about 10 years ago. She spoke to the group about her recently published debut crime novel The Estate and answered questions about life under apartheid in South Africa. The meeting was attended by 16 members from the host branch Stirling, as well as from Birdwood and Murray Bridge. Adelaide Hills parish priest Fr Fred Farrugia celebrated Mass and praised the work that CWL does to assist parishes.
