Sr Marisa Valzasina and Sr Grace Matsumoto were presented with an apostolic blessing from Pope Francis for their dedication and service to the Archdiocese of Adelaide prior to their departure from Adelaide last month. After 57 years the Daughters of St Paul have closed their bookshop and media centre in Adelaide. Following last year’s thanksgiving Mass for the Daughters of St Paul’s presence in SA, Bishop Greg O’Kelly SJ reiterated his gratitude to the Sisters who were visibly touched by the papal blessing. Organist Sian Gardner performed at a free luncthime concert in St Francis Xavier's Cathedral on March 4 as part of the Adelaide Fringe.


Catechumens from parishes around the Archdiocese were presented at the Rite of Election in St Patrick's Church on March 1.


St Paul’s College Year 6 students Kavisha and Nathan are holding one of the prizes to be won in the Easter raffle being run at the school. The raffle is just one of the ways students are raising money for Project Compassion – Caritas Australia’s annual Lenten appeal which supports the world’s most vulnerable people.
