Students at St Francis Xavier’s school at Wynn Vale had the opportunity to play a wide range of instruments as part of a musical expo conducted recently. For a week the school yard was filled with the sounds of the recorder, trumpet, guitar, saxophone, trombone, flute, violin, clarinet, keyboard and drums, as the children tested their musical talents. Organisers said the initiative hit the right note, with students, parents and grandparents being brought together by music.
