Hundreds of people attended the annual Lourdes Day and Anointing of the Sick Mass in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral on February 14. Holy water was distributed by members of the Order of Malta.

Noarlunga-Seaford parish priest Fr Dominick Okwadha (centre) celebrated his silver jubilee on November 30 with a special Mass followed by a multicultural meal.Fr Dominick said it was a joyful occasion and the sense of unity and fellowship was uplifting.He thanked parishioners for being part of this significant milestone.
Led by parish priest Fr Michael Musyoka Kyumu, parishioners from the seaside parish of Brighton walked from Sacred Heart College chapel at Somerton Park to St Joseph’s Church to celebrate the 2025 Jubilee Year. Rainy conditions on November 22 didn’t dampen participants’ enthusiasm as they recited the Rosary on their journey.
Vincenza Siviglia was baptised by Fr Saminathan Arockiasamy in Sacred Heart Church, Semaphore, on December 7 2025. Vincenza’s parents are Pasquale and Lisa-Marie Siviglia of West Lakes and her godparents are Pasquale and Claudia Siviglia.
Elizabeth Gladwich and Cristian Lonardo were married in St Patrick’s Church, Adelaide, by Fr Maurice Shinnick on December 6 2025. Elizabeth’s parents are Toni and Michael Gladwich of Athelstone and Cristian’s parents are Anna and Renato Lonardo of Tranmere.
