With Archbishop Patrick O’Regan as celebrant, the community reflected on the establishment of Emmaus parish from three parishes (Goodwood, Kingswood and Colonel Light Gardens) 10 years ago while also acknowledging the contribution of migrants and refugees to the Church.

Parish priest Fr John Shanahan, Fr Chisom Ilechukwu and Deacon Shane O’Dea concelebrated the Mass which was followed by a lunch featuring cuisines from the parish’s many different cultural groups in the parish hall.
