150th celebrations at Macclesfield

The historic St James the Less Church at Macclesfield was overflowing on Sunday November 5 for the celebration of its 150th anniversary. Events included a Mass of Celebration followed by the opening of the extension of Mary MacKillop Way and a shared lunch held in the old school building. Past and present parishioners, past students of the former St Joseph's school, local residents and several Sisters of St Joseph attended.
