Joshua open to the journey

Spending three months in Lourdes, France, helping young people to engage more with their faith is proving the perfect way for Oblate seminarian Joshua Nash to strengthen his commitment to God and his calling to become a priest.

The 60th annual pilgrimage of the Order of Malta to Lourdes, which took place in the 160th anniversary of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s first apparition to St Bernadette Soubirous, included 94 pilgrims from the Order’s Asia-Pacific region.

Pat’s call to serve comes later

It was the phone call that would change the direction of his life and as Pat Lopresti recalls, it wasn’t an easy one to make. He procrastinated for some time, drink in hand, before he could summon the courage to dial the number.
