Sleeping in class gets a tick from the teacher

Students and staff at St Thomas School, Goodwood, have been overwhelmed by community backing for a school sleepout in aid of Vinnies and its services for the homeless.<br />

Creating a community through coffee and chooks

What started as a few chooks and a chicken coop has turned into a thriving enterprise for the Goody Two Shoes café at St Thomas School at Goodwood.

History in the making

Beautiful ornate vestments, copies of The Southern Cross dating back to the 1890s and a certificate signed by the first parish priest at Goodwood are just some of the treasures on display in the recently established Emmaus History and Archives Centre.

Coffee connecting communities

A simple cup of coffee is proving to be a powerful tool in bringing together members of the Emmaus parish and one of the local school communities.
