The winning entry, which appears on Archbishop Patrick O’Regan’s electronic Christmas card, came from Dominican School Year 2 student Genevieve Miller.

Other winning entrants were Melissa Kelleci, Year 7, St Mary’s College; Anika Nunez, Year 3, St John the Baptist Catholic School, Plympton; and Casey Podger, Year 6, School of the Nativity, Aberfoyle Park.

Lucas Wong, Year 3, Saint Ignatius’ College, was highly commended for his entry.

The Southern Cross editor Jenny Brinkworth said the number and quality of entries made judging difficult and she thanked teachers and students for their support and participation.
